Research Group Precision Radiotherapy

The research group bundles the activities in the field of high precision radiotherapy. The core of the group is settled in the department of Radiation Oncology, University of Wuerzburg with active interdisciplinary, national and international cooperation. Research focus is development of new techniques to improve accuracy of radiotherapy: new imaging technology and physical treatment planning optimization are considered as key working points. High value is set on clinical relevance of research with the aim of fast implementation into daily clinical practice to provide benefit for our patients.
